Microbiologics Expands Executive Leadership

St. Cloud, Minnesota, USA – Microbiologics, a leader in biological reference materials and contract research services, is expanding its executive leadership team to support future growth. Joining the company as Vice President of Human Resources, Mardi Noyes will lead strategy and operations for employee engagement, retention and recruitment. Mitchell Wirka also joined the company as Vice President of Quality and Regulatory and will direct internal quality systems across all locations, as well as activities related to the regulatory compliance of Microbiologics’ products and services globally.

With that growth the Human Resources function is critical, particularly in today’s competitive job market,” said Microbiologics Chief Executive Officer, Brad Goskowicz. “The areas of Quality and Regulatory are equally important for us to continue fulfilling our mission of providing the highest quality biomaterials for a safer, healthier world,” he added. “Both Mardi and Mitch bring great leadership and expertise to their respective areas. Noyes earned a bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology from St. Cloud State University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Illinois. Prior to joining Microbiologics, Noyes served as the Director of Human Resources for St. Cloud-based non-profit Catholic Charities for 16 years. She also instructed HR courses at St. Cloud State University for 9 years. Noyes said, “Microbiologics is known throughout the Central-Minnesota community for the great work they’re doing in protecting public health and safety. I’m excited to join a team that’s making such a difference on a global scale.”

Wirka attended the University of Minnesota, Morris, where he earned double bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Biology with a Minor in Computer Science. His career includes leadership roles in quality for medical device companies such as Cantel Medical, CHF Solutions, Cardiovascular Systems and St. Jude Medical. “Microbiologics has an exceptional culture and inspiring leadership; they truly live out their values and purpose. My goal is to support and refine systems and processes which will ensure we’re able to continue delivering the highest quality products and services as we expand,” shared Wirka.
