Announcing MicroBioLogics® License and Supply Program

 

MicroBioLogics® is pleased to present the MicroBioLogics® License and Supply Program. We are continuing our commitment to ensuring the authenticity and certified quality of the biological materials contained in our products. The MicroBioLogics® License and Supply Program has been established to provide more options with verifiable quality and fair value from a trusted source. This program allows our customers to choose from a broader selection of microorganisms derived from a variety of respected international culture collections.

 

The National Collection of Industrial, Food and Marine Bacteria (NCIMB), a major international culture collection based in Aberdeen, Scotland, is the first to join the MicroBioLogics® License and Supply Program. Established in the early 1950’s, NCIMB is a major international culture collection for environmental bacteria in the UK. They currently manage nearly 8,000 strains many of which are unique to them. NCIMB also acts as an International Depository Authority (IDA) for patent cultures and has achieved certification from ISO 9001:2000.


Starting in early 2008 your organization will be asked to sign a MicroBioLogics® License and Supply Program Agreement in order to purchase lyophilized microorganism preparations from MicroBioLogics®. Registration for the MicroBioLogics® License and Supply Program will be completed on our website; we are currently working on developing the new registration system. For now you can continue ordering products as usual. A royalty fee will be charged on behalf of the culture collections participating in the MicroBioLogics® License and Supply Program. Please continue to check our website for the most up to date program and product information.

Improvements at MicroBioLogics -- 06/23/2009

MicroBioLogics is currently in the process of implementing a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System that will help us serve you better. When complete, this new system will give you online access to view your order and tracking information. Also, MicroBioLogics will eventually begin invoicing electronically in an effort to help the environment and reduce paper usage.

You may notice some changes in the appearance of invoices and packing slips; however we do not anticipate any complications during the transition. If you experience any problems, please notify us immediately so we can correct them. Thank you for your continued patronage.

MicroBioLogics, Inc. has been honored with the 2009 Governor’s International Trade Award. The award is given by the Minnesota Trade Office and honors Minnesota companies that have excelled in the international marketplace. MicroBioLogics was presented with the award at the 25th Annual Minnesota World Trade Week Luncheon on May 15, 2009.
MicroBioLogics, Inc. Receives ISO Guide 34 Accreditation -- 05/18/2009
MicroBioLogics, Inc. is pleased to announce they have been granted accreditation to ISO Guide 34:2000 General Requirements for the Competence of Reference Material Producers by The American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).
