Announcing MicroBioLogics® License and Supply Program
MicroBioLogics® is pleased to present the MicroBioLogics® License and Supply Program. We are continuing our commitment to ensuring the authenticity and certified quality of the biological materials contained in our products. The MicroBioLogics® License and Supply Program has been established to provide more options with verifiable quality and fair value from a trusted source. This program allows our customers to choose from a broader selection of microorganisms derived from a variety of respected international culture collections.
The National Collection of Industrial, Food and Marine Bacteria (NCIMB), a major international culture collection based in Aberdeen, Scotland, is the first to join the MicroBioLogics® License and Supply Program. Established in the early 1950’s, NCIMB is a major international culture collection for environmental bacteria in the UK. They currently manage nearly 8,000 strains many of which are unique to them. NCIMB also acts as an International Depository Authority (IDA) for patent cultures and has achieved certification from ISO 9001:2000.
Starting in early 2008 your organization will be asked to sign a MicroBioLogics® License and Supply Program Agreement in order to purchase lyophilized microorganism preparations from MicroBioLogics®. Registration for the MicroBioLogics® License and Supply Program will be completed on our website; we are currently working on developing the new registration system. For now you can continue ordering products as usual. A royalty fee will be charged on behalf of the culture collections participating in the MicroBioLogics® License and Supply Program.
