ABOUT MICROBIOLOGICS
Founded in 1971 in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, where our World Headquarters still resides, Microbiologics is dedicated to creating confidence in science by providing industry-leading infectious disease reference materials and testing services. We offer the most comprehensive collection of microbial and viral reference standards and quality controls to support accurate diagnostics and safe consumer products. Our catalog of more than 2,600 infectious disease quality control products is sold through a network of more than 160 distribution partners servicing 142 countries across the globe.
As a leading Contract Research Organization (CRO), we also collaborate with diagnostic technology, drug, and vaccine researchers and developers to co-create and deliver custom biological materials and anti-infective assay services supporting the full clinical trial process from discovery to post-market surveillance. Our team brings a consultative approach to each engagement, collaborating with our partners to build a custom program for their specific needs. We are highly experienced and equipped to work with a wide range of BSL-2 and BSL-3 pathogens.

MicroLive
In addition to our engagement groups, Microbiologics hosts MicroLive virtual meetings each month, led by our executive leadership team. These sessions offer companywide updates, financial performance reviews, and insights into various initiatives and departments, helping us all stay connected and informed no matter where we are. MicroLive meeting invites are sent out via email to all team members each month, so be on the lookout for them.
Birthdays and Anniversaries
We also hold monthly meetings to celebrate employee anniversaries and birthdays, recognizing the incredible contributions our team members make throughout the year. Whether it’s on site at your location, or virtually via Teams, we hope you’ll join us for a fun celebration each month. Calendar invites are sent out monthly to all team members.
MicroStar
Another special initiative is our MicroStar peer-to-peer recognition program that aims to celebrate and acknowledge the outstanding efforts of team members. In our fast-paced and dynamic work environment, it’s essential to recognize and appreciate the exceptional contributions of our colleagues. With this program, we’re putting the spotlight on those who go above and beyond to make a positive impact in our workplace.
We encourage everyone to recognize a colleague’s exceptional performance; there are two ways to do this.
- MicroStar recognition cards are available in the break area in each Microbiologics location. Fill out the name of the MicroStar you’re recognizing with a brief description of how they went above and beyond. Scan or snap a picture of your completed MicroStar card and email it to microstar@microbiologics.com. Team members in St. Cloud can drop off the MicroStar card with a member of the HR team.
- Alternatively, team members can send an email to microstar@microbiologics.com to recognize a colleague for being a MicroStar. Please be sure to include the name of the team member you’re recognizing with a brief description of how they went above and beyond.
As a token of our appreciation for their exceptional performance, each MicroStar receives a $10 credit for the Microbiologics Swag Store. The HR team will reach out to recipients with details. MicroStars also get a shout out in our MicroLive meetings each month. In addition, we have a drawing where each month’s MicroStar recipients can win an extra $50 credit in the employee swag store.
SWAG STORE
As a member of our team, you’ll have access to our exclusive Microbiologics Swag Store, where you can shop for custom Microbiologics-branded apparel and gear. The swag store is a great way to showcase our company’s values and culture both inside and outside of work.
