Microbiologics, Inc. Appoints New Chief Executive Officer
Saint Cloud, Minnesota USA (September 1, 2010) Brad Goskowicz has been named Chief Executive Officer  of Microbiologics, Inc., a global leader in producing biological reference materials for Quality Control testing. Previously, Brad had served as President and Chief Marketing Officer for the company.


Microbiologics was founded in 1971 as a laboratory testing facility specializing in environmental and public health threats. Today, the company is a leading manufacturer of lyophilized microorganism preparations for Quality Control testing in the Clinical, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, Food Quality, Educational, Water and Environmental Industries. There are currently more than 130 authorized Microbiologics Distributors serving approximately 120 countries around the world.


Brad Goskowicz joined Microbiologics in February of 2009 as the Chief Marketing Officer. Previously, Brad served in senior sales, marketing, and leadership positions with companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, Thoratec, and Myocor.  In addition, Brad has served as President of US Speedskating for the last four years. Since joining Microbiologics, he has led the market launch of EZ-Accu Shot™, Lab Elite Certified Reference Materials and other key initiatives.


Bob White, had been acting CEO since March and will continue to serve as Board Chair, a position he has held since January of 2008.  “This completes the transition we began in the spring, and I am certain that Brad’s dedication and experience will ensure we continue our strong pattern of growth well into the future.”


In his new role, Goskowicz will be directing a strong Management Team of Frank Wohletz, Chief Financial Officer, Donna Scholer, Chief Operating Officer and Naomi Bowling, Vice President and General Manager of Microbiologics’ Gibson Laboratories subsidiary, which is based in Lexington, Kentucky.
